Membership Restructuring

After a successful first year in Toledo, Launch Pad Cooperative will be restructuring the model of the gallery to keep in line with current market trends. The reorganization includes, in part, the elimination of Core Memberships and major revisions to the  Associate Memberships. The primary focus for the next fiscal year will be  promoting new associate members, generating curatorial opportunities, continuing our Featured Lines Reading Series, as well as developing partnerships to initiate a monthly film series.

Launch Pad Cooperative has had an emphasis on solo exhibitions for Core Members in the past year and intends to focus the next fiscal year on bringing diverse contemporary art to this area, while providing continued support to the Associate Members via two and three person exhibitions. Launch Pad Cooperative is seeking submissions for six Associate Members for the next calendar year. Potential candidates must display a cohesive body of work, a strong studio practice and a high degree of professionalism. Unlike previous memberships, there will not be any fees, monthly dues or gallery responsibilities for these six associate member positions. Additional membership benefits include having the gallery extensively promote all artists, the opportunity to co-curate an exhibition, show their own work in a professional gallery, access to each others networks, exchange exhibitions with other cooperatives around the country, and an avenue to critically discuss their work outside of the studio.
