Timothy and three other artists will represent ArtSlant at this years Aqua Art Miami contemporary art fair. Congratulations, Tim! LPC is very excited to announce our newest Core member, Julia LaBay! Julia received her Bachelor of Fine art degree in sculpture at the University of Toledo in 2012. She is currently working for the University Of Toledo Department Of Art as the 3D Studio Technical Assistant. LaBay has shown her work regionally as well as nationally and won several awards and grants for her artistic creations. Julia plans to attend graduate school in the future to pursue her MFA in sculpture. She is also a mother of two wonderful children, and owns and operates a sign business in Maumee, OH. Artists are invited to make pieces of artwork in a 8" x 8" format that can hang on the wall. These pieces can be as elaborate or simple as you like. You can make one piece or multiple works! The money generated by this show will be used to offset the expenses of programming such as artist talks and panel discussions, work on special projects like catalogs and exhibitions abroad, and for general operating expenses. Tinola is a graduate of the University of Toledo (Women and Gender Studies, BA; Sociology, MA; Philosophy, MA), Tinola has shown work and presented in various locations throughout Toledo, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, Chicago, Illinois, Buffalo, New York and Lockport, New York. Tinola enjoys photography, working in encaustic and found objects. Occasionally she finds time to play the cello and is currently working on a spoken word album. |
